Pelosi backtracks on Armenia ‘genocide’ bill

Nancy Pelosi decided to back off the Armenian Genocide Bill, and decided to move forward with her "Nordic Vikings were sexist Bill" as well has her, "human rights violations from the last year of the Ming Dynasty through the Opium Wars bill".

That is just the kind of "can-do" politics I can get behind.

I was just commenting to one of my liberal minded friends that they now know what conservatives feel like: weak, gutless, leadership.

I really have no probelm with Dems who want to end the war in Iraq and bring everybody home ASAP. I think it's a bad idea, but if the votes can be mustered they (Dem politicians) should make it happen and OWN the decision. But they won't do it. I they know it would be much worst without us there and they don't want to have to explain the aftermath. They didn't have the internet while a million people died on the Ho Chi Min trial and in the killing fields, but it happened. That's not an arguement for not pulling out of Vietnam, but it was a consequence of U.S. withdrawl that the war's detractors never had to really deal with politically.

At this point in the game I'll vote for anybody who has the slightest morsel of integrity no matter what party.
