Jamming with my Daughter

Jamming is one of my favorite things, but jamming with my lovely daughter is the best.
Here we are on a labor day afternoon. Notice her Ibanez Micro (complete with Hello Kitty stickers) and her first Marshall...

You know Guitar Center sells a Hello Kitty strat. We dropped in before the move last week to pick some strings and my little girl was jumping up and down insisting I buy it for MYSELF! I pulled it off the wall, handed it to her ("thunk" when it hit the floor), and said she should consider playing it herself. She tried to fret a string or two and could barely get her hands around the neck. I said, "In due time young lady, in due time..."

I've seen the kitty strat - the full scale size is too big for little girls. The Ibanez Mikro - is 2/3 scale - nice and small for the kids.
I tune my daughter's guitar to an open G. Her little hands can bar most of the neck. I'm mainly getting her used to just holding the guitar correctly.
She sure likes her new 15 watt Marshall - the wife and I aren't as crazy about it...
